Making and managing bookings
After registration, you'll be taken to the booking page where you can select appointment times.
How to book an appointment
- Choose a date - If the event runs across multiple days, select your preferred date from the tabs
- Find available times - Browse the timetable showing staff names and available time slots
- Select a time slot - Click on an available time slot with the staff member you want to meet
- Choose a student - Select which student the booking is for (if applicable)
- Add details - Optionally add comments or answer any booking questions
- Confirm - Click "Confirm booking" to complete
Viewing your timetable
To view all your confirmed bookings, sign in to your school's event website using your email address. You can either click the sign-in link in any of the emails you have received from Schoolea, or visit the school's event website directly and use the Sign in option, which will send a fresh sign-in link to your inbox. Once you are signed in, your bookings appear on your timetable for the event.
Your timetable can also be reached from your profile page, which lists every event at this school you are currently registered for.
Your timetable shows:
- Date and time of each appointment
- Staff member you're meeting with (if applicable)
- Student the booking is for
- Comments you've added
You can export your timetable in multiple formats:
PDF Format:
- Click "Print" or "Download PDF" from your timetable page
- Great for printing and bringing to the event
Calendar Format (.ics):
- Click "Add to Calendar" to download an .ics file
- Import into Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or any calendar app
- Automatic reminders based on your calendar settings
Cancelling bookings
If you need to cancel an appointment:
- Go to "My Bookings"
- Find the booking you want to cancel
- Click "Cancel" next to that booking
- Confirm the cancellation
Once an event closes, you may not be able to cancel bookings online. Contact your school directly for assistance.
Adding or editing comments
You can add notes or comments to your bookings:
- Go to "My Bookings"
- Click on the comment icon next to a booking
- Enter or update your comment
- Save changes
Comments are visible to staff and can help them prepare for your meeting.
